In 1906 Bhairab police station was established and on April 15, 1983 the police station was upgraded. Bhairab is the administrative authority of greater Mymensingh and presently Kishoreganj district. Meghna River on the east side (the other side of the river bibariya sarail upazila of the district), north-east corner of the bajitpur Kishoreganj district, north-west corner of the Kishoreganj District, west and south corner and Raipur Belabo Narsingdi district, south corner of the east-B. Border of Ashuganj upazila of Bariyaya district.
